Desktop Messaging Issue

Okay, I tried this in the CallPilot forum without any luck. I have been using desktop messaging for about 2 years with no issues. Last week I had my PC re-imaged and now my desktop messaging is not working properly. I have reloaded the desktop and mail (groupwise) software several times... I get the message in the desktop messaging folder, but when I click on it, it will not open the player and it just opens up as a text email. ANY IDEAS?

Is it still working on any of the other PCs which have not been reloaded? or is it just yours?
 
It is just mine. I can get it to work with GW6.5 but not 7.0 after this issue. I just can not find the corrupted link what kicks off the player when you open the email message. You would think it would be a file extension definition assigned to the CP player?
 
I would uninstall Desktop Msg on your PC and try reloading it again. After I make a change to any PC I always reload and start fresh. Its easier than troubleshooting an existing problem if its only on one PC. If its on multiple PCs obviously start with one at a time.
 
Thanks, but I have already reloaded the software(groupwise, desktop messagaing, and NT windows messaging) several times in various sequences, but nothing works.

Groupwise is such a piece of WORK, and I don't want to roll back to 6.5, so I will just live without the desktop messaging.
