This is only broken on one site.

I've added the users deskphone and softphone details into YA server.

I've programmed the deskphone as a multicall key on the softphone's multicall key set assignment (position 2) but no extension appears in the YA software.

If I call the extension the deskphone rings but no pop up o ring at the softphone. However when the call is stopped, I get a missed call appear in the history window.

This is YA Lite, so is this a restriction of the YA software. Both server and client are the latest versions.

Is it safe to assume the key appearance on the YA client is set to immediate ring? This works fine in YA Lite ver 3.09 (the server-less version)

yes the ring type is set to Ring on the key appearance. The strange thing is that on our YA and other sites the deskphone appears with the associated DN in the communications window.

Is this YA lite 3.0.9?

If so, does the multicall key appear on more than 1 set. That version had issues with multicalls on multiple sets.

YA Lite 5.0.0.91, multicall will only appear on one set.

Sounds like a question for Mitel Support then.

I'm using the old 3.09 version with multicalls on 2 physical phones (office & TW) and have YA Lite working at both locations. At the TW end the companion appearances of the multicall line cannot be answered using YA, but the screen pops and missed call history (which is what I use it for) works fine.

Strange too if you read the original product bulletin YA Lite 3.09 was intended to support only the 5215, 5220 and 5235 instruments though it in fact seems to support all of the multiline IP sets. I know I've used it with 5140, 5240, 5330 and 5340 instruments. It's a great tool and a shame it was discontinued. We would gladly pay for it in its present incarnation, serverless with exactly the functionality it came with.

We've tried IOC and most recently UC Express, but the client still prefers the old YA (and so do I). The new UC Express takes over too much (wayyyyy too much) of the taskbar. The tie-in with LDAP and Outlook is very nice but being a taskbar hog makes it something of a poison app. My users will typically have 8~10 apps open at one time, relying on their taskbar buttons to switch back & forth. They can always find room on their display to park YA, but taking over the taskbar is seen as an encroachment into sacred territory. Put UCE in a window somewhere onscreen and I think more people would like it. Get it off the taskbar.
