Desk Console installation on 2400 ipx

I know very little about NEC so am here with a few question. Hotel puttin in a 3rd desk console (SN 716 desk) in a back office to help with calls to the front desk. Not sure what the difference is between a desk console and an Attendant Console. I found the existing two desk consoles are on a PA-CS33 card, which I see supports only two desk consoles. The system has a PA-CS08-b card not in use. Can this be used for this new console or does it require I get another PA-CS33? Will there be any issues with the system supporting an additional Desk console or cs33 card?

I now have a sp33 card and have put it in slot 23, I do not see the operational light come on , nor do I get anything on the console hooked up to it. I did take the new card and put it in the slot containing my exisiting sp33 and it lights up and works just fine so I know it is not the card. Not sure if I need to issue a command to make it operational. I do turn the make busy switch off but not sure what else is needed to make it come up.

1. ASYD SYS 1 Index 9 = the number of consoles in the system. For three it should be 03.
2. ATRK assign the console in trunk data.
RT = 901
TK = probably 3 for the third console
LEN = the first level on the card LENS location
RSC = 0
SFC = 0
TN = tenant number probably 1

After assigning the console the system may automatically be placed into the night mode. Be prepared to take it out from the main console.

Thanks for all the help so far. Getting closer. When I looked at rt 901 tk3&4 I realized that was the LENS of the existing desk consoles. I looked at TK 1 and found that to be the LENS of a CS08 card that was backed out. I put the SP33 card in that slot but the set still didnt come up. I outed the tk 1 &2 and rebuilt on a different shelf. Put everything in and then went to make busy control and changed the state to 0. I get the light on the card now but still nothing on the set. I am punched down to pair 19 and have a power supply on the console. I put the console on pair 19 of the other card just to make sure I was on the right pair and double check the set was good.Not sure what to try next.

ok got the console up. was a either bad cord or jack in switchroom. Now that I put it in, calls are only going to this new one and not the two original consoles! HELP

I think what may have caused this...I was following the feature programming manual. Step 3 of setting up an att is ASAT-assign identification numbers to the specific att consoles. I went in and put tenent 1, acc 0, atn 1. I thought maybe this was the issue so I deleted that entry. This caused inbound calls to get a busy signal as well as dialing 0 internally got a busy signal. I changed the atn to 3 and calls went to the front desk but not the other 2 att's. Not sure how to point inbound calls as well as 0 to all the att's.

Alrighty, final post (i think )on this subject. Figured out that somehow the admin & guest special access codes for 0 got wiped out by me changing ASAT. When I deleate the ASAT and went into both AASP and AGSP and added a acc for 0 set to ssc and 2, calls worked again. Man I need to learn this system, though this is the only one customer with NEC.
