Ok, this is just a little design flaw I came across...
Could someone go to (LONG name, I know...)

And could you look at it and give me some suggestions on how to incorporate back buttons into the different sections?

Right now the site is REALLY slow because I haven't optimized it...I was just told to get it done...later I will fix all of the hurried mistakes.

Any suggestions, comments are welcome, even if negative. Regards,

It's really kind of funny when you get helped by a wang. (As in WANGBAR you sicko!)

As far as load times - I agree, there is simply no excuse for these 100k movies you see around loading all at once - I don't mean yours at all - it seems quick.

But to combat this, I started using loadMovie extensively. By breaking everything up into constituent movies - load sequence and time is easier to control, and editing is much improved.

This also lets the user think the movie is loading quicker than it really is because they see a part at a time.

By loading into levels it is very easy to hide and show them, depending on whether or not they have loaded yet -.

You could use this to make the back functionality could you not?

I thought the site loaded pretty quickly too to be honest...

There is actually code out there to get the browser's back button to work properly in Flash it's at...

in the experiments section (along with THE best Flash toys you're ever likely to be amazed by).

Hey wangbar...why doesn't robpenner.com work?

where is it?! Regards,

Hello Anthony,

Incorporating a "back button" is not and should be much of a problem. After looking at your design, I feel that, since all your navigation buttons are elliptical in shape, you can also use a similar button, but of smaller size, for a "back button" on this web site.

I would also recommend having a "next button" just incase the user might have to navigate back and forth, if you allow that is :)

All in all, the overall look and feel of your site should be consistent, so a button similar to the main navigation us advisable.

I hope I got your question and answered apptly :)

Good Bye!
