I need a derived field to calculate the # of Remaining checks for our employees who are paid Monthly. I can figure this out easily in my head, however I need to have a derived field in my report to calculate some other items.
52 # of checks in a year
12 # of checks they are paid in a year
They are currently on week # 28 out of 52 weeks
They are paid every 4.333 weeks
The monthly employees are paid on the 15th, so since it is not 8/15 yet, they should have 5 checks remaining for the year.
Do you know how to get this calculation using the info above?
