Deploy published app to multiple user profiles on one workstation

Is there any way that you can deploy a published application to multiple profiles on one workstation?

I apologize - to clarify I would like to do this without having to login and setup each user to connect to this. Just a way to mass deploy in one shot.

There are basically two simple methods you could use to give all user's on a workstation access to a published application without having to login and configure each user.

The easiest way out of the box is to create an ICA file for the published application. To do this in MetaFrame XP right click on the published app in the CMC and select "Create ICA File". Follow the steps in the wizard and then you can just put this ICA file on the All Users Desktop on each workstation.

The second method would be to deploy Web Interface or NFuse. This would be a little more involved than you are looking for probably. You'll need a web server that the users can hit.

Yes. You can embed the username and password in the file.

An Example of what is actually in an ICA file would be something like this:

It is just a basic *.ini format. You could create this manually in a text editor, but when you run the wizard it will generate this file for you.

Ok - I have it setup the same and seems to work well. However, how does the password get encrypted if you aren't setting the perameters in the wizard. I don't have the option to enter username and password when creating this connection - and if I enter this manually in a text editor Citrix won't understand the password.

So, once again not to confuse you (I apologize if I am) - I noticed that in your example of the ica file there is a password (encrypted) which you said was embedded - is there any particular command line you need to type after "password=" for citrix to accept as a domain password?

Still a little confused - Citrix rookie!
