Hi,
Is it possible to create interdependent dimensions? e.g. I have supervisor as one dimension and Employee as the other one. Requirement is something like this. When I choose a supervisor in a published powerplay web report (.pdf version) the next dimension (Employee) must show only those employees which work under the chosen supervisor.
I have to show Supervisor and Employee as two different filters in the published pdf report.
Limitation here is that“Levels” can’t be displayed as filters in ppweb report. I have tried this by creating ‘Employee’ level under ‘Supervisor’ Level and creating another dimension ‘Employee’ in the same transformer model. But still filters are not dependent.

As far as I know, one cannot create interdependent dimensions. What you have done is the most one could do, create a Employee Level under Supervisor Dimension and also have a separate Employee Dimension. Many of the reports that I have created have a similar design due to this limitation. I have not been able to fins a way out.

What I want is something like nesting in the prompts. I am sure this is one of the potential requirements in any type of reporting scenario.Cognos is accomplishing it on RDBMS throgh Powerprompts. There's got to be a way to accomplish this requirement in MDDB's too.
