I have a report for a call centre. The report shows call vols for the day by department. There are 3 departments all of which have different open times.

Although I can set a parameter to filter one of the open hours, how can I show each departments call stats while they are open? I need this all on one report.

I use Crystal v.8

Thanks

Why do open times matter? Are there calls made outside of business hours that you want to exclude? How are you planning to structure the report? Please explain groups, etc.

The idea is to create a single report which shows all areas of the business.

I will be including calls ans & aband. This will also include PCA%. If I include calls which are out of hours, the aband calls (out of hours) will be included in the daily total, thus showing a lower PCA%.

I can create a report with parameters, however as each area has different open times, I can't split the parameters between departments (I don't think).

You are not providing enough information. What would you be using a parameter to limit? What is PCA%? If you mean you want to limit hours by department, then you could use a record selection formula something like this:

(
{table.dept} = "A" and
{table.time} in time(8,0,0) to time(17,0,0)
) or
(
{table.dept} = "B" and
{table.time} in time(9,0,0) to time(16,30,0)
) or
//etc.
