Hi there

Hope someone can help... Is it possible using the DHCP service on 2K to deny DHCP requests based on a list of MAC addresses? I know this may seem a bit of an odd request, but we want to integrate some MAC workstations that require (for imaging) to get DHCP addresses from an X-Serve, and not our 2K DHCP Server.

Any help would be gratefully received...

Kirk

Why don't you just add a second scope to one of the servers and have that server give out leases for your whole network?

You have this problem because X-serve and win2k server are on the same broadcast domain, can you break them into 2 networks then attach the w/s for imaging to the network of X-serve.

Or add a second NIC on DHCP server to become a multihomed DHCP. Attach the workstation for imaging on the second NIC which is of different network address. Read this link for multihomed DHCP:
