Hi, one of our sites has been running on backup server for 5 days while our MPLS network was down. It is now restored and I have reset the G700, for some reason though we cannot make internal calls to other network regions. I get the below when tracing a station...
08:40:16 active station 3671 cid 0xe10
08:40:16 G729A ss:eek:ff ps:20 rn:2/2 172.16.60.32:26322 172.16.50.3:16646

Any ideas as all phones are registered with the ain sites clans and can make/receive external calls.

Thanks

08:40:18 denial event 2329: No BW, prowler

prowler = ipmedia.

You missing coding resources in one of your PN's/Network Regions I guess.

Yep the errors point to lack of IP bw resources for the calls in that region. Ensure the voip module actually came back on line.

Dunstan - Is there a way to check the VOIP module? On this site we have a G700 with S8300 LSP. All phones are currently registered with the CLAN's at our main site but cannot call them due to the events above. The Media Gateway link is also up. Verizon have chacked the network and router config etc and see no problems. None of our other network regions can see this one!

Try telnetting to the MGP IP address on the G700 and running "show faults" and "show voip". When looking at show voip, make sure that the DSP resources are not busied out for some reason.

I've got onto the MGP, there are no faults that I can see, when I run "show voip v0" the DSP's state is idle?

Try to login and and do a show voip-para. That will give you a status on your DSP resources and the voip modules current state.

hs-vs01MGP1-001-1(super)# show voip-para

Looking through what you posted again perhaps you can display your network-region in question?
