Delta Server 1

Have upgraded to 2.1.27 on IP Office 403, now delta server can not connect.

Have tried down gradeding delta server and upgraded currently got 4.0.36 runnig.

The config starts to load, shows some hunt groups then failes with an error "user list failed" then shows could not find server.

Any ideas?

Check all names ( short and long ) of users, groups and telephonebook are unique and they should only have alphanumeric characters and/or spaces in them.
Most easy to detect errors is loading the config offline in the wizard then the wizard shows all errors wich can be repaired with the manager.

Isn,t 4.0.36 only for the new IP 406.

Correct you should be using 4.0(35) for 403 4.0(36) is only ofr the 406v2

Top man intrigrant, had spent a whole day packet sniffing to try and find the problem. As usual something completely different, yes a users full name had a comma in it.

Seemed to run ok on 4.0.36, but taken the advise and gone back to 4.0.35 all still ok.

by the way, ccc5 is available for almost a month now. delta server now runs as a service and has incorporated archiver. although it has some issues, overall i like v5 much more than v4.

Just did my first 5.0 install today. So smooth and transparent it was hard to tell if it had actually uinstalled. Certainly a big step forwards.
