What is Delta Refresh, Cons and Pros of it

Delta refresh is also called as incremental refresh. In the method of refresh only the data created or modified after the last refresh is delivered to the DW loading program.
Performance is the only benefit of the delta refresh.
however it need support from the source to implement delta refresh. Meaning there should be a way to identify changed source data. the are tool which can perform this. And also the ETL logic can get complicated as the logic changes from simple insert to insert/update.
