Delphi source code obfuscator

Does anyone know an obfuscator for Delphi (except CocolCloak) ?

Why would you want one?
If you turn off debugging info in the compiler settings it will be quite garbled as is.

I should make a project for an university: they want the source, but they do not want to pay for it.

They say that it will be used only for security pourposes, just to "have it", and other bullshits, but I know that they will use it to obtain know-how to use in other similar projects (someone have had the branzenface to told me that he will do).

The contract should include the source, so obfuscating it may let me respect the contract for the previewed features, but may be a nice surprise for the bstrd!

If they are not going to pay you for it and you are not delivering it as a study-related work, why bother? Just give them what they want to pay for: nothing!

You could perhaps deliver the source code on hard copy, with a strong background pattern so it would be almost impossible to OCR it.

I should give a functionant source.

A solution may be give the source to a notary public and set the rules to obtain access to it, but the cost may be high and it's ever best not to involve lawyers.

You could give it to them in a password protected zip file and only give them the password when certain conditions have been met.

Also carefully read your Delphi licence documentation, and see what Borland have to say about selling on source code.

This should not be a problem:

under \ProgramFiles\Borland\Delphi7\licence.rtf:

"Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, you may freely redistribute source code or compiled code that is entirely your own and does not contain any redistributables."
