Delphi 1.0 freezing with Windows 2K

I am working on a project that was developed in Delphi 1.0. I am using Windows 2000. I noticed that quite often the application freezes when I attempt to connect to the SQL Server 6.5 database. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have to ctl-alt-del to get it to close down.

ANy ideas on what I could do to make this application run more stable?

I'm surprised that your using Delphi 1.0. Delphi 1.0 was developed for Windows 3.x. And your using it on Windows2000 ! I guess kudos are due to those original developers at Borland.

How are you accessing the SQL 6.5 with SQL Links?
