Hello,
Does anyone have an idea of how I can rid myself of this file/program. I understand it has to do with using Multimedia keys on my keyboard, which when I tried to delete the files, it warned me that data would be lost. Just what type of Data are they talking about ?
It's disturbing because this is taking up 100% of my cpu usage, and my desktop is absolutely crawling, infact I can't even get Outlook to work at this time.

Hi,

Go to the RUN command type msconfig

To to the "Startup" tab and disable the Dell proggy.

Keyboard should work without it - if not I would speak to Dell.

Ash.

As stated it's the Dell Hot Keys.

Do you have XP SP1 installed?

I think there might be a problem with hot keys and sp1.

Since I've installed sp1 I can't get the hot keys to work, they don't even load properly, and I've even downloaded a fresh version from Dell.

You might check the Dell site to see if anyone there is having a similar problem.
