Hi,
how can I configure a internal unit DELL RD1000 sata 6.0 on SCO UNIX ? Server PowerEdge T310
Thanks for the support

You are talking about the RD1000 disk drive, right? If external, I doubt it will play with SCO.

If it's internal, check this SCO.com TA: 126631 and see if the SATA chipset is one of the supported Intel ones.

If the SATA chipset is not supported, you have to switch the BIOS SATA setting to Legacy or IDE, then use the SCO wd driver.

Hi patw,
thanks for the response.
SCO Unix 6.0 during setup has already installed the driver SATA.
To use, run mkdev hd?
I have to create the vxfs filesystem to copy files

How do I add a new hard disk on the Sco System ?
Thanks
