Delimiters 1

Hi,


I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible when saving a worksheet as a text file to change the delimiter - I know you can save the worksheet as a comma delimited or tab delimited file but I was wondering if you could use a different delimiter such as | or = or !?
I'm using excel 2002.

Yes, Go to Control Panel, Regional Settings.

On the Number Tab, find list seperator, it should be a comma.

Change it to what you want and save.

Now go to excel and do a save as CVS file.

It will be the delimiter that you changed and you cna then change the extension of the file you saved to txt if you wish.
