Hi,
I have some code I wrote some time ago. But as my laptop was misplaced, I lost the source code. I wrote it in Delphi under 16 Bit. Now I need to change one or two minor things.

So I was wondering if anyone knew of any 16Bit Delphi decompilers which i could use? Any name or link etc will be appreciated. I dont mind to buy a license to the software if required.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Thanks but i have already tried each of them with no luck:(

As far as I know, the best option you can get out of any decompiler is assembler (assuming it even works), since most of the variable identifiers are lost. Perhaps the best option would be to just plan on rewriting the app (and remember to backup this time!), depending on what it did and how valuable it is to you to have running. Besides, the 32-bit compilers are here and several of them are free (FreePascal/Lazarus for one).

Good luck.

Well, if it's 16-bit, then you're probably talking D1 or D2. I'm guessing you're out of luck, because even those previously mentioned don't recover everything, and as Glenn mentioned, you get assembly language rather than Pascal.

It's your data stores that are important now: if the formats of your files and databases are known, at least you can write something that will be able to use your data. If you've used something like B-Tree Filer, you're really up the creek.
