No harm at all if you delete files form Windows\temp folder.

No problem if you delete everything IN the folder.
Please be sure that you don't actually delete THE FOLDER.

Have a great one! Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply.

Help increase my knowledge by providing some feedback, good or bad, on any advice I have given.

Thanks...

For safety sake I renamed "temp" to "oldtemp", created a new "temp" folder and rebooted... all seems ok..

Thanks

You may find some files in the folder are actually in use. I always delete everything more than one day old.

Do it from DOS, and you can delete the complete folder.
There is also more to delete, if you wish to. See
Thread615-155821 .

You can delete it. Windows will recreate a new one, next boot, no harm. Cheers,
Jim

Sometimes deleting the temp folder maybe quite useful as some games don't run unless you completely delete the contents of your temp folder. I had this problem with Train Simulator. Fiddle about with things, and you've more than likely got the job done.
