Hi!

We have some VAL boards that have lots of announcements on them we are no longer using. I have removed the administration from the switch but I would still like to just "wipe" these boards clean, but haven't found a great way to do that. Does anyone know if there is something like "delete *.wav" that would delete everything, or do I need to do them all one by one?

Is there another way I can clean these boards?

Thanks!

Heidi

removing files from board

remove file board 04B15 /annc/Disaster_Closed_Ann.wav

"command failed" means .wav is Protected: y
you must change announcements, add an announcement extension with .wav for name
and Protected: n
Then you will be able to do remove file board ... /annc/*.wav without error

Thanks bsh!

Is that command entered in the PBX or is that from a command line? It appears the PBX but I was told this didn't really remove all the announcements from the memory despite what it says. Was that bad information?

Thanks!

all commands here are from Definity / CM Command: prompt

Command: list directory /annc board 3A09

this will show .wav files and modification dates, size of files, protect y/n

Command: display integrated

this will show time used by .wav files and time remaining on each val board.
