This may be a really easy question but here goes. I have a database with 2 ldf files. Both of which were made initially with way too much space. I would like to get rid of the second ldf file. Is it really as easy as clicking on the file in EM and hitting delete? Or is there some other preferred method. I would hate the crash the database on something which looks to be so easy to do. Thanks for your help.

Why not simply do a full db backup then under db properties, set the recovery model to simple instead of full.

Maybe you misunderstood. I just want to get rid of one of my tran log files which was initially given way too much space. Wouldn't changing the recovery model just prevent me from restoring tran logs?

Take a backup first and set the second ldf file to 1 mb and see for a day any growth in it. If not go head and delete it.
Good luck
