I have a worksheet in Excel 97 using WXP that I imported data into from Crystal Reports but have double and sometimes triple row spacing between data. Is it possible to delete these rows that contain no data with a tool or formula rather than holding down the Cntrl key all night?

Thanks in Advance!

Assuming that all your rows, where they contain data, have something in every field (column), highlight all your data, turn on the data filter (auto). Click on one of the drop-down arrows and select "non-blanks." This will close up all your data, simply cut & paste to a new location. Once you are sure it is all there, delete the original.

1) You can do a sort on one column and delete all the blanks then resort based on your origional critera.

2) If all the cells you don't want to delete are full (have some form of data) you can use: "Goto > Special > Blanks" and delete them that way.

Select any entire column where you can be sure that if a cell within it is blank then the entire row with that cell in it can be deleted. Now do Edit / Go To / Special / Blanks, then do Edit / Delete Row.
