Deleting Report Instances

I have a folder of reports that have the limit of report instances set to 5. For some reason this is being ignored and there are close to 3000 instances of some reports under this folder.

The hotfix from 2/06 that was to help with some instance limit issues has been applied.

I have checked all that I am aware of and still can not get the instances to delete.

Please help.

The objects themselves may not have the instance limit set and it's overiding the folder, CE is tricky that way.

All the objects have the same number of instances allowed. Sorry I should have included that in the first place.
