deleting fields in a table 1

I am trying to modify an access database I assembled 2 years ago. There are several fields in the tables which are no longer required. Is there any way to delete these fields so that the deletion cascades through any queries or alternatively quickly tracing the occurrence of these fields in any query etc. where they appear so that I can delete them manually.
