I'm having trouble deleting documents that are in a meeting space's document library. There is no drop down arrow when I hover over them. When I open them, there is no delete option.

I am logged in as an administrator, so that shouldn't be an issue.

I can't find anything about this problem on the MS support site or in the help file. The help file indicates that deleting from the meeting space document library should be the same as deleting from any other document library.

I can delete docs in a regular document library, just as you would expect to.

This seems similar to this post: but none of these ideas helped.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANKS.

I should have mentioned...I'm using MS Office 2002 with FP 2003. I know some things are dependent on Office 2003.

So, you have the "Edit" icon visible and when you click on it, it doesn't present you with a "Delete" button in the following view?

In case you don't - go to "Modify settings and columns" once in the document library, click on the View that you are using, and make sure "Edit (link to edit item)" as checked.

When click on that by any of the documents you should go to a new screen that shows the the attributes of the document and has a light blue menu bar with options "Save and Close", "Delete", "Check Out", "Version History", "Discuss", etc.

Let me know what part of the above doesn't work for you.

Besides that....you can go to your "Network Places" and finding the network folder that holds the documents and doing the delete there. If the folder has not already been created on your machine, you can map a drive using the URL of your site.

Thanks for your help cdipaolo. Nothing there helped. What happened was that the library was created with a summary toolbar by default. Once I changed it to a full toolbar, the delete and other options appear on hover.

THANKS
