I am having trouble deleting announcements from our announcement board by using the FAC on a phone. Avaya CM3 on S8720 and G650 Gateways. The procedure that I use is as follows:-
dial *14 (FAC)
dial announcement 4001
press 3 to delete
After I enter the announcement I get a busy tone. I have ran a trace and get the following:-
18:06:59 tone-receiver 01B0802 cid 0x3aac
18:06:59 active station 1064 cid 0x3aac
18:07:04 dial *144001
18:07:04 denial event 1799: Annc in Audio Grp D1=0x8c63 D2=0x3aac
18:07:04 dial *144001
18:07:04 denial cid 0x3aac
18:07:08 idle station 1064 cid 0x3aac
I have searched for info on denial event 1799 and can't find anything relevant. I have tried other announcements with the same result. The announcements are not protected in ASA.
I have changed the COS permissions on the phone that I am using and I have tried 3 other phones and changed the COS on all of them to 0,1,6,11 & 15 as these are listed in the COS table as having Console Permissions. The type of phone we use is a Callmaster V 6416D+M and it has worked before on these, but it has been over a year since I have done this.
Is there anything else I can try here to get this to work?
