Deleteing files on the server.

Please help, Novel 5.0, 10 x w2k workstations, copying data from the workstations to the server = great (no problems), if I try to delete those files or a large directory, it will take upto 8hrs to delete 300Mb of data.......
If I use the attrib -r-a-s-h, this will take hours to complete, but the deleting process is done in seconds, so its changing the attributes that is the problem..any ideas...cheers

Hi

I think the problem is a slow network connection.
If it isn`t delete or change the attributes in NWADMIN.
I think then it runs better.
