DELETED TIPS.ini, due to adware threat..now no INTERNET

This is very frustrating, I noticed that my PC was acting strange, so i downloaded a norton internet security pro trial version, did a scan..found 3 trojans and about 4 adware files, trojans weren't a problem to get rid of..adware was a pain in the a$$. Anyway getting to the point..the last file i deleted was "tips.ini", then I booted up out of safemode..and i could not connect to the internet, nor use any IM service, NOTHING! as if i had no connection. Someone please find it in their hearts to help.. Thanks

Thanks guys, turns out that when you delete that adware "tips.ini" is screws up your network adapter. All i had to do was uninstall it then reinstall the adapter..everything is fine now..Thanks for the help
