We have a SQL database currently installed on a few workstations. On one of the workstations an Oracle program was uninstalled and reinstalled. Within the uninstall instructions it indicated in regedit that the Hotkey/Software/ODBCINST.INI needed to be deleted. We did so, and in doing so, it deleted any ODBC connection that the computer had. We have since reinstalled the upgraded Oracle program which has put the hotkey\software\ODBCINST.INI folder back out there. I was able to uninstall and reinstall Crystal Reports and the ODBC driver was put back into this folder. I then did an uninstaall and reinstall of SQL Server Client on the workstation and it does not seem to put a SQL ODBC driver into this folder. Would I be able to copy any information from another workstation that did not have the Oracle database installed?
