Every time I delete files, nothing shows up in the recycle bin. I've tried the DOS fix on attributes and deltree of the c:\recycled folder but I have to do it every time I boot up. Is there a relatively easy fix for this? Thanks for any suggestions.

Right on the Recycle Bin, Select Porperties, Npw select the Tab with your computers name on it, Then uncheck to box that says:
Do Not Move Files to the Recycle Bin
Remove The immediately when deleted.

I've already tried that but thanks anyway. For what it's worth, I have Norton Utilities installed. Don't know if that has any bearing on this or not.

Try unchecking norton in msconfig on the startup tab items and restart if your files will show in the recycle bin then it is your problem. There is a set that is causing it.

I unchecked all the references to Norton (actually, there was only one). Rebooted and still can't see the four deleted files in the bin. Thanks for trying. I'll just live with it until I either crash or upgrade to XP.
