I've deleted an Exchange 5.5 server from our organization using the Exchange 5.5 Administrator on our Exchange 2003/Windows2003 server. I also deleted all the connectors, etc.

When logged in the 5.5 Administrator everything looks like it should, no 5.5 server listed, and no connectors.

On the system manager I can still see the Server listed (tho no acces is available of course) and it still shows the old connectors that were deleted.

I'm assuming this is a replication errror somehwere and the delete is not getting replicated? I've re-checked myself with the Microsoft tech-notes on how to remove the exchange server and everything seems to be up to par.

Any feedback would be great, our company really wants to move ourselves into Native mode soon!

Thanks,
Chris

Did you perform all of the required tasks when removing 'The first Exchange server in an org'? There are some things you need to do before you can remove. If these weren't done, you have an issue.

THanks both for the posts. I ended up having to change the name on the Config CA (Servername) connection agreement from the old Exchange 5.5 server to the Exchange 2003 server. Since it was just connecting to itself, the old instances of the Exchange 5.5 server including the connectors disappeared.

Thanks again!

Chris
