I went in to delete my folder here: x:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\Accounts\<myfolder>

I restarted VMPRO services to let it auto-create the folder again. Now I'm not getting any email notifications and the Message button on our 9611 phones is not lighting up.

I can log into the folder that was re-created and see a message I left, they are in the folder but not showing up on my phone.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why did you delete it?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Another user here is having some odd issues w/ their voicemails, some they can listen to some are silent.

I was going to go through and rebuild her whole profile (I was told this helps solve the 'corruption' problem sometimes), so the first step was to delete that folder, then her greeting, then her Name entry etc..

I wanted to test on my account first to make sure everything would come back as it should and this happened.... I'd rather it happen to me than a user here.

Thanks.

You better remove the user and then recreate it.

Removed and re-created my user account. No luck - still not receiving any sort of notification.

Any suggestions/help are appreciated.

Create a new user with a slightly different username

Are you seeing the folder recreate, I just had one on 8.1.67 that did not create had to delete the user and reboot the system to get it to start working.
Mike

The folder did re-create (as it should), I tried restarting services and rebooting the server to no avail.

make sure there is no space at the end of the name, this has caused problems in the past.

Just checked that, no space at the end.

try to creat using a different name for the ext, instead of JSmith use JohnS and see if that will work and light the lights.

Just tried it, it changed the VM pro folder, but when testing a voicemail it did not work.

Lights do not light up and when I log in the visual voice I do not see any messages, yet when I look in the vm pro folder, the message is there.

Are you in IPOffice or intuity mode?
IPOffice mode needs Vext in the source number.

Can you try IPOffice mode just for the test?
You need to add V201 for extension 201.

what does the SSA show for the user does it see the VM that was left or does it say no messages. Also run monitor and VM debug and have it recreate the VM box and see what they say.
Mike

Can you try IPO mode and see if you then receive messages :)

@tlpeter

Just tried it, left a vm and never received it.

And I did change the source number to Vext
