I moved from SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services to SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services.

Since I Upgraded now everyone has access to do whatever they want in reporting services.

In the ReportServer table I see
UserName: Everyone, UserType: 1, AuthType: 1

I am not sure how this got there and I am wondering how I can remove it?

I tried updating
UserType: 0, UserName: Everyone, AuthType: 1

But that did not change anything...

Please help, I need to tighten up security in SSRS.

You shouldn't need to be altering the tables in the backend of SSIS. Just use the Report Manager web application to set your permissions.

The problem is Report Manager looks like it is set correctly but still everyone with access to the webserver has access to everything.

For example I have a folder labeled "Data Processing", if I look at the folder settings it looks like only the RS_DataProcessing group has access to the folder but instead everyone can get to the folder.
