Hello,
On one of my remote DC's there are about 40 different
entries in the routing table to an old router address. At
the CMD prompt I type the commands to delete the routes,
do a ROUTE PRINT to confirm they are taken out but they
keep coming back. Is there a file locally on the server
that is keeping this stuff in the server routing table?
The reason I ask is when I have checked the other DC's
they have the normal 7 entries you usually see. Thanks
for any help.

Pretty sure its just a bug in 2k.. Reboot and they should be gone. At least that is what I have seen.

Thanks for the reply, I wish it was that simple. I have already tried this and the routes are persistently listed after bouncing the server. I wonder if there is a file on the hard drive that is getting loaded. If anyone else knows anything I would greatly appreciate it. I think this is adding to a replicaiton problem I am currently working on.

Found the area in the registry where the routes would be hiding: (HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\
PersistentRoutes

there was nothing there :-(

anyone else know of anything? RRAS is not configured. Where are these entries coming from?
