I have an old access database that I recently migrated over to sql 2000. I still have all of my qry/forms in access, I just linked all of the tables.

Whenever I try to run a delete qry, it tells me that it "Could not delete from specified tables".

Has anyone ever had this error and found a solution?

Thanks
Adam

Check the permisions on the sql server... If your just passing a sql delete statement then It is probably inside of sql, not in access...

another thought... Are you using one sql login for access to the server, or one per user?? (Easier with one, but some times you need more custom control per person...)

Life is change. To deny change is to deny life.

As it turns out, if you don't select any unique key feilds when it prompts you, it doesn't let you add/delete records.

Thanks for your help anyway!

FYI for anyone searching for an asnswer later.
