Has anybody have this problem before. I'm seeing the "#Delete" record in all the column of my table. I'm using MS Access 97 to link to DB2 tables on the mainframe.
After I linked to the DB2 tables on the mainframe. Some table it works fine, but other tables when I open up all I see in each field is "#Delete". I can not seem to figure it out why some table work fine, while other are not. Is it has something to do with the way the DB2 was define on the mainframe? Any information provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

The #Deleted records message occurs when Access is trying to get to a record in the database that has been deleted between loading the data from the table into access and moving to the row, or the primary key value has changed by another user so Access can't locate the row remotely.

Thank jrbarnett,
but how do you fix this so that records won't show up when you open up the table or query against. I try to re-link the table again, that doesn't seem to help. Any idea how to get rid of these un-wanted "#Deleted" records.

Thanks!
