I'm having some real trouble with my RSS feeds in b2evolution blog software. Basically, they're being outputted with a blank line before the XML declaration, and I can't seem to find where that blank line is coming from. Is there any code I can insert at the beginning of the RSS PHP file to delete the previous line, so it doesn't get outputted to the browser/feed reader?

I don't think that would do it. I need to delete a whitespace line that was probably created by another PHP script that includes these RSS feeds. I can't find where it comes from because there are like 10 nested scripts that work to create the feed, so I'm wondering if I can erase the last line before the whole feed gets sent to the browser via HTTP.

yes. use trim() before the line is sent to the browser.
