Delete names in Company Directory

Whenever someone new comes to the company, I delete the old mailbox of the previous employee. I then add the new voice mailbox and initialize it. I had someone call this week-end and listen to the company directory. He said there were a lot of names that he did not know who they were (obviously, previous employees). I want to know if there is a way to listen to the company directory ,other than after hours, and how do I delete names that should no longer be listed. The system I have is the Norstar Voice Mail Modular ICS 4.0. Can anybody help me?

delete unused mailboxes - that'll delete the names frm the directory as well

Thank you for the information. I realized the problem was unused mailboxes. I just need to find out what the maibox numbers are to delete them. Is there an easy way to find this out or do I just put in the extensions one by one to see what name comes up?

and scan thru the names and select the ones you want to delete

If he "listened" to the company directory you must have one that is custom recorded in a ccr tree. Check your CCR for a recorded directory.

The built in directory when you press # is only dial by name and does not read out a list directory by name. This is the one you are deleting when you delete a mailbox.
