Delete key posts form after drop down selection!

Hi all,
Has anyone else ever seen the following issue or can sugest away to prevent it...

I have a form, I can delete from the various text boxes at will without issue.
But As soon as I make a selection from a drop down then move focus to another cell then press delete, the form posts.

Anyone got any ideas?

I odviously can't disable the delete key so I don't know how to stop it.

My mistake, it doesn't post the form it activates the browser back functionality

This is not a coding issue.. this is a browser issue, have you closed and re-opened your browser? This happens occassionally on my pc, sometimes reopening IE fixes it, and sometimes it requires a reboot..

And it happens on IE7 and not firefox.

Thanks for your reply - just tried an IE restart - now going for the old reboot

It happens on IE 6+.. It used to happen on IE6, and it also happens in IE7 as well..

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it, except start using FireFox, Netscape or something else.
