Hi to all

This is my first post in Tek Tips i hope i'll do it good.
My problem is i need to erase about 300 authorization codes and generate new ones i know how to do it one by one with the command remove authorization code XXXXXX or add authorization code XXXXXX but i am wondering if there is a way to erase all at once and another way to import the list of the new 300 authorization's code's this with the only end to don't do it one by one.

the PBX are Avaya Definity G3 Version V11

Do you use ASA to manage your system? You can use ASA to export your auth codes, then use the "Import" function to remove the entries.

Export your Auth codes and their CORs to a .txt file. Once you have your list, go to the Advanced tab (make sure you are not logged in to the system, but the system is selected)and choose Import Data. Then:

Select an Object: authorization-code
Remove Command (radio button)
OK
Paste in or import your Auth Codes
Save (Floppy Disk icon)
Run (Lightning Bolt icon)

Then when you add new ones back in, select the Change radio button and you will get the COR field.

Good luck!

Thanks gabber4858 for your help It Worked, the problem was that i was doing it when i was logged in, i followed your steps and it worked just fine,

Thanks a lot for you help

Perfect! Another cool trick is to go the properties of the site and add a 2nd connection. This way you can run Gedi and Emulator at the same time, or Gedi and a Report, etc. Glad it worked out!
