Delayed Write Failed

Hi,
I am having an error message in Windows which is entitled &quot;Windows - Delayed Write Failed.&quot; Inside the dialogue box, it says &quot;Windows was unable to save all the data for the file \Device\NetwareRedirector\FS1\SYS\USERS\<USERNAME>\VACANCY\RESPONSE LETTERS\~RGE LIST.DOC. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.

Now, there isn't any problem with this particular computer accessing the server, it can log on fine and is still connected while this error occurs. Microsoft's Knowledgebase has no reference to this error at all. Has anyone encountered the same problem and might know how to fix it. By the way, this error comes up when someone is in Microsoft Word 97 attempting to save a file to their user directory on the server.

Turn off file caching in the Novell Client Properties. Under Advanced Settings.

Also ensure users have Create, Modify, and Erase rights.
