Delayed Ring Button

I have an extension 8240. I have bridged call appearances on 6 phones for that extension. I want all of these phones to ring when 8240 is called.
I have one extension that I want to ring after 5 rings to the other 5 phones but not before that. I put delayed ring button on the extension but it doesn't ring even after 15 rings! Is there a feature that has to be turned on?
The problem is that I don't want to use a call pickup group since the appearance of a call is lost to other users once the call is picked up.
 
Not sure what set type you are talking about but did you turn on

yes that's turned on but it rings like the rest of the phones then and I'm trying to make it ring after 5 rings or so to the other extensions.
 
What about creating a coverage path and set it for 5 rings to ??

I don't think that will work because I want all 5 of the other extensions to ring at the same time while the 6th extension to ring last. That could work but if nobody out of 5 people pick up a call after 5 rings then I want the 6th person to be a last resort.
 
to get delayed ring to work you must set this on the station that appears on all the sets.

Per button ring control = Y

call-appr Auto-A/D? n Must be Y

cha sys par fea page 1 auto abbreviated ring = 5

that is a system wide setting.
 
Then make the 6th extension the next point (2) of coverage.

5 rings on originally dialed extension

point 1

extension bridged appearances (take out the 6th person if you want them to be the "last resort")

point 2 after ?? rings to the 6th person
