I have a customer with an IP Office 500v2 R9.0.12. 8 Analog trunks. DS30B expansion module in BST Mode. The Nortel T7316 phone at reception is experiencing a 2-3 second delay when answering outside calls. Most of the time the phone is still ringing when the receptionist is saying hello to answer the call. This is very frustrating for all parties involved.

Has anyone else experienced this. I found another thread but no one answered it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Craig.

somehow I believe the nortel phone is the problem, do you have another type of phone to test with?

Has this always been happening since the install? If not you might try to reboot the IPO and DS30.

I should have also stated that when the receptionist steps away there is a fallback group. ALL of the Nortel sets in the group act this way when night service is activated. There is a combo card in the system but unfortunately it is 3.5 hours drive away. I will change the reception phone the with an Avaya model next time I go there. I am thinking it is the DS30B to be honest.

Hi Mike. Last week I upgraded from 9.0.5 to 9.0.12 and the system was rebooted a couple of times.
