Delay when right clicking an icon.

I had some trouble uninstalling some software. I finally got the software removed but now, when I right click an icon on my desktop, things stall for about 30 seconds before the menu opens. Can anyone suggest a cause and how to fix the problem?

Heck, always try to restart in Safe Mode (push F8 during startup) and then restart in normal mode...that fixes alot! If not, check your memory! How much you got in there? If you're usin 98 and have under 64 megs, I'd say FOR SURE go get another stick! The more the merrier!
