Delay sending digits for Zone Paging

I'm having an issue with a delay in digits being sent out the designated Paging trunk. We have a WAT trunk connected to a Viking Dialer that then connects to a Bogen PCMCPU with zone/group paging. (The dialer is being used due to the inability to send the "*" digit out the trunk for group paging. I.E. converts "01" -> "*01") The users press a key on their 2616(?) phones to access paging. Once the key is pressed the simulated dial tone from the Viking dialer is heard for 4 seconds, then silenced and followed by beeps indicating the Viking dialer is out-dialing the appropriate digits. Monitoring the trunk during this time, those same 4 seconds are followed by the correct two digits from the switch then the beeps are heard from the dialer. So it is working however the 4 second delay I've not been able to resolve. We had an similar issue from analog phones where the talk path was not connected for 4 seconds after dialing was completed. This was resolved by changing the ODT timer from 4096 to 256. The analog phones use a locally programmed speed dial (local to the phone itself). No pauses are being used, either by the digital or analog sets.
As I'm not familiar with the CS1000 I'm not sure where to look for solving this issue. I've pasted in our trunk and rdb for reference.

I don't readily have the KEY programming line but I do know that it was a HOT entry.
Thanks in advance.

ODT is to Analog what EOD is to Digital. Maybe the fix is Set both the EOD and ODT to 256

Some of this delay may be coming from the Viking Dialer. I think by setting MANO to YES you can probably bypass the Viking and have the ability to send *.

Thanks for the quick replies. Next time the site's admin is available I will have them try both suggestions.

As to the Viking dialer, the reason for it in the first place is that the switch would not send the "*" or "#" keys (we need the "*" key for group dialing with the Bogen controller). Apparently that requires Package 104 which they do not have. At least that's what we were told. If MANO-YES will solve that issue that'll be a great help.

The 4 second delay is coming from the switch. Monitoring the trunk line going into the dialer confirms the timing. The analog phones are dialing through the same trunk, with the dialer, without any more than a reasonable delay (< 1 sec). Those are set up with speed dialing on the instrument (i.e. 6102 is what's stored, no pauses between the ACOD and number).
