Hello,

I have a problem whit my sip trunk. On my test mx controller i have a 2 channel sip trunk to a Dutch sip provider. Incoming calls are working fine, but when a what to call someone it takes 6 to 8 seconds before the mitel controller sends out a sip request invite message.
On the wireshark trace it takes 6 seconds after dialing the number before the first sip message appears.
If I dial out on a BRI interface there isn't a delay, also when i connect a IP500 to the sip trunk no problem.

Is there anyone whit the same problem (running version 9ur3)

Thanks, Mark Schotman

My first guess is a digit conflict. You could prove this out by dialing <number>+'#' (hash key) If the call goes straight through then you have a number conflict somewhere our in your ARS the number of digits to follow is programmed as "unknown"

Hey ralph.

How could I be so stupid that i didn't thought on that.
As test i had digit dailed 0 to follow unknown.
Normaly on ISDN telco sees the digits and calls the number. (digit before outpulsing) but this seem not to work whit a sip trunk.

Many thanks.

Glad I could help. Why is it we always seem to overlook the simple things first?
