Hello,
We had a few problems with our Exchange 2003 server. I have managed to sort it out but now our clients are experiencing strange delays in sending and recieving email. When a message is sent, it appears as though it is still in the outbox until you click somewhere else in Outlook (then it disappears and is sent). Incoming messages do not seem to arrive automatically anymore and arrive in 'groups' when you click on something in Outlook. This happens in all different versions of Outlook.
Thanks

I am having the same probolem, have you resolved yours? In my case, this is only happening with 1 user.

Lukey,

Did you ever figure out your message delay problem back from Sep '04? I'm having the same issue with one user today, and I'm stumped.

If you have time, please email me at jseva@safcu.org.

THank you.

Bump.

I am having this problem as well. It doesn't hurt anything, but it's annoying that i can't figure it out.

We had issues before with Office 2003 and XP SP2. The problem was delays like that and also the users' inbox had a delay. It was most noticeable on distribution list emails because people without SP2 would get the message like 30 seconds before the users with SP2.
We opted to not go to XP SP2 until we either found a fix or there was a security hotfix for SP2 that wasn’t offered on SP1.

I hope this helps.

Tom
