Hi guys!

I have a special requirement for an installation in a nursing home for the elderly (replacement of a Bosch Integral 3 -> IP Office R9):
After lifting the receiver (analog phone) the user (resident) should be able to dial whatever number. If the user dials nothing for 30 seconds he/she should be routed to the nursing ward.

I thougt I could use the ?D short code for this purpose, but this works only immediately after lifting the receiver, not with the 30s delay.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Have ?D to a VMPro menu with a recording of dialtone. Allow resident to dial whatever and timeout to wherever.

Thanks for the reply.

I considered that too, but took it only as my last resort because SMDR data would look funny (-> Call data acounting via NovaTax).

That's the only way though, you can't delay an automatic dial of a number on the system :)

I thought so too but wanted to ask nevertheless. Sometimes you guys come up with solutions where none should be.
