Defragger not installed

When I go to run the Disk Defrag from the Tools tab in a disk's properties, it tell me that the software isn't installed and I should find the Install/Uninstall tab in the Add/Remove Programs application.

Does anybody know if/how I can re-install the default Windows defrag tool (I have had to uninstall Diskeeper by force since it refused to go quietly)?

I think you have unistalled it accidently, to isntall you will need the windows 2000 cd and go to control pane add/remiove programs ---> Select Add/Remove windows components on the left hand pane. Check to see if it in there.
