The only problem being that the bigger hard drives need to be partitioned into small parts concidering that ms-dos and win3.x only support FAT16.
This means that the hard drive partitions can only be up to 2gb apiece.

yours will apply to the FAT16 catagory described within the first reply by "rockerfellerz"
if you realy need a huge HDD then think about upgrading to a FAT32 or NTFS compadible OS
but be warned that NTFS doesn't let all old MS-DOS programs have the run of the machine.
nor for that matter, does FAT32.
